ABOUT THE WALKS
We have on offer a wide ranging programme for walkers of all capabilities. Most of the walks are very local to Tomintoul / Glenlivet.
Please Register & Pre Book all walks - Click Here
This is essential and transport is included in the cost. Please note on the most strenuous walks there will be a limit to the number of people in each group. The walks are graded by the one, two or three boot symbols.

3 Boots - Strenuous, over varied terrain, considerable ascent / descent and of a full day duration.
2 Boots - Moderate, over varied terrain, including some ascent / descent and several miles in length. Usually a full day.
1 Boot - Easier walks, usually on tracks / trails, often of several miles, lower levels ascent / descent.
All walks will begin from the Main Square in Tomintoul, where the walk HQ will be found. Where necessary transport will be provided to all start and from all finish points. We want you to relax and enjoy your walking without needing to drive.
We intend to deliver our walk programme as described, we do however have to take account of local conditions on each day and will only alter the walks if conditions are regarded as being unsafe.
Qualified and experienced Mountain Leaders will lead the technical and strenuous walks. A range of other experienced leaders will lead other walks. Leaders will have good knowledge of the local fauna and flora.
